Founded in 2022 by Director Marco Todd, BA in Business Management, the business grew out of real work helping friends move goods across borders. That experience with customs, freight, and supplier communication shaped our practical style.
From Favors To Full-Service Partner
The first version of our company started when Marco stepped in to rescue a friend's import and export shipments, coordinating overseas suppliers, customs, and transfers until the goods were safely received.
Those early favors showed how many small and mid-sized businesses struggle with sourcing, logistics, and paperwork.

The Director
Marco leads Higher Origins as Director and primary contact for many clients. With a BA in Business Management from Middle Tennessee State University and real experience moving goods through customs, freight, and vendor negotiations, he understands both spreadsheets and shipping docks.
Marco built this firm after seeing how much time owners lose to sourcing headaches, unclear logistics, and scattered admin work. His role today blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, so recommendations turn into finished tasks, not extra homework. He walks clients through supplier options, negotiates pricing, coordinates shipments, and helps untangle day-to-day processes.
